Mini Cube Box with Diagonal Lid - Bloom Where You’ve Planted

Today I’m sharing with you a super cool mini Cube Box made with the very cute Plant Dsp  (Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite)

I made a whole heap of these boxes and made some matchy notecards to give to friends as a little ‘thinking of you gift’. Each box had a succulent from my garden planted in a reused coffee pod.
The production line

Soooo cute!!!

Perfect size box for this gift idea (2” Square box)

The girls loved them!

Here how I made them - thanks to Sally Stampers and her Cube Expressions video and instructions.

I could stop making them …

Last one!!

I’m loving the calming colour combination of this suite. Green is my favourite colour and paired with Cinnamon Cider I’m in heaven!

Tasteful Touches - Just Saying Hello

Today I’m sharing a card that just says it all. As we find ourselves in lockdown after lockdown we are all feeling a bit out of touch with those we love. We can still connect with them via video, phone calls, texts but I feel that nothing quite brings a smile as a handmade card with a handwritten note.

I love eclectic stamp sets that lend themselves to creating your own personalised backgrounds. So this single layer background does just that.

To finish off the card I’ve added a nice bold die cut frame for the sentiment & added some InColour dots (retired) - now available in squares!

Of course never forget the inside!

Such a beautiful peaceful colour combination

Inspired by Nature with Artistically Inked

Today I’ve made another set of cards with some of my new favourite products. Inspired by nature I made half of these with a twist on the designer paper.

We spent NYE 2020 in Qld. I always love being amongst Qlds beautiful flora it’s so pretty and inspiring

I translated that inspiration to the bottom edge of these cards. I snipped the paper on a diagonal at even intervals and stick every other one up on a small dimensional.

The chevron looks great in any colour.

Or if simple is more your thing keep it simple

I always love the way InColours combine together

Dressed to Impress Waterfall Card

My jaw was on the ground the first time I saw a waterfall card. They are surprisingly easy to make. This style of card definitely suits a stamp set with lots of images such as this one… Dressed to Impress.

Here a quick snapshot of the main supplies

To make this card you will need:

A standard card base (1/2 A4 sheet)
x1 Crushed Curry strip 1-7/8”x9” then scored @ 2”, 2-3/4”, 3-1/2” & 4-1/4”
x4 Basic White squares 1-3/4” squared
x4 Basic Black squares 2” squared
x1 Black strip 1x4-1/8”
Inspired by one of my favourite crafty YouTubers Dawn Griffiths you can see her card idea here https://youtu.be/GtWr9oTV-ow

This last stamped image on the Cryshed Curry piece is a bit like a secret message

Don’t forget the inside panel!

These colours work so fabulously together
