Surprised Gate Fold with Painted Harvest

As the end of year approaches I realise my stock of birthday cards is running low! I’m not complaining I love to make new ones so here’s a cute gate fold with a surprise.
As you open the first gate, you see the surprise 2nd greeting label - this time the fun little hedgehog you can make with ‘Painted Harvest’. It’s important to make sure this 2nd panel is adhered directly under the first one so that you can’t see it when the card is closed.

A cute inside with all the matching colours in Merry Merlot, Pool Party & Pear Pizzazz

Why not try a different colour combination with Blueberry Bushell, Pool Party, Crumb Cake & Call Me Clover

3D Fussy Cut Diorama Card

I love an interesting fold and this Diorama Card is so easy to make. I have used x2 pieces of A6 cardstock (that’s a 1/4 sheet of A4 =10.5cm x14.9cm) one in Rich Razzleberry and one in Whisper White for the back panel. To decorate this card I used ‘Tea Room Specialty DSP’ and the gorgeous lady from ‘Beautiful You stamp set’.
You’ll notice that I have cut a large circle from the Floral DSP for the front panel, I flipped over the circle cut out and used it for the background (see Calypso Coral striped dsp). Then fussy cut flowers from another piece of Tea Room DSP.

Colour combinations are easy to create when you use your DSP as a guide.

Celebrating You with a Diagonal Fold

This card fold blew my mind when I first saw it! It’s seriously one of the simplest yet stunning designs I’ve played around with. The only problem is that I now need a trimmer long enough to cut the cardstock in 2 (diagonally)! Keep reading for the tutorial.
This has been such a WOW card for both my class attendees and my recipients.
Here’s a quick tutorial on what to cut and where to score.

Pet Sympathy Card with the Cat Punch

Sadly some friends let’s have died lately so these super quick to make cards and in handy. Using just the CAT Punch to create a fun background these took so little time to make I whipped up 2 of them in a few minutes. The great thing about the cat image is once it’s punched you can reverse some images. The sentiment is from ‘Better Together’. I can’t wait for the new Occasions Catalogue (available Jan 5th) where there’s going to be a DOG punch - this will definately be on my Wishlist.
Clean and simple card making
I like the ombré feel of this colour combination

Here’s another combination you could try.

Painted Glass

I once made a stained glass piece at school when I was 12. It was actually really hard work, but this card definitely wasn’t. I was inspired by the beautiful and already printed Designer Vellum in this suite that makes colouring a breeze. I take any opportunity to use my Stampin’ Blends (alcohol markers).
The trickiest part of this card was removing the Black cardstock from the intricate due (see band that goes across the card). You’ll want to be reall6 careful removing this as it is very fine in places. I love how it looks though against the Horgeous Grape background.
I know I CASE’d these coloured flowers from someone and now I don’t recall who, so if it’s you please comment below and I will add the due credit
I also really like how the greeting panel has a lightly stamped background, it looks rather stark in plain white..

A pretty inside too!

If you look closely there is Granny Green Apple on the flower leaves
