Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop - Holiday Catalogue Preview #inkitstampit #stampinup #holidaysu

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. The Design Team have been busy making projects inspired by our Holiday Catalogue Preview theme. The team have all created amazing projects to share with us tonight. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects and we'd love to hear from you on what your favourite is?

So even though the items are not quite ready for purchase we thought to get your creative juices flowing we would share some projects with you.  I preordered the Brightly Gleaming Suite. You're going to love this suite its sophisticated, mature and sparkly too with lots of Copper through out the whole suite.

I'm always drawn to the Christmas sets with Baubles. It just screams chrstimas to me!
This beautiful stamp set has both baubles and a gorgeous holly & berries image which is a really great size. I'm so happy it's this big, because in past years the holly has always been a little on the small size to make a big impact.

You can choose to purchase between the BUNDLE (Stamps and Duo punch pack) or the SUITE which includes the bundle items and DSP, ribbon & 2 embellishments.   Here's a taster!

I cant wait to see what everyone makes with this Suite - it really is very beautiful with all those Copper sparkles.

Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop - Country Road Baby Wipe Technique #inkitstampit

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. The Design Team have been busy making projects inspired by our Technique theme. The team have all created amazing projects to share with us tonight. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects and we'd love to hear from you on what your favourite techniques are?

I’ve revisited this awesome stamp set this month together with the baby wipe technique. If you’ve never heard of this before you can make your own multicoloured ‘ink pad’ with a folded baby wipe and reinkers. See picture below.

I have found the images with lots of solid parts to it works best as you can see the multi colours better.

Create an ‘ink pad’ big enough to accomodate the stamp size. This way you’ll avoid blending the colours together too much when inking up the image. Careful with the reinkers it can get quite messy real quick!

Don’t forget the inside...

I love this colour combination...

Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop - Country Road Male & Kids inspired #inkitstampit

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. The Design Team have been busy making projects inspired by our Male & Kids inspired theme. The team have all created amazing projects to share with us tonight. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects and we'd love to hear from you on what your male or kids theme is?

Today I have a simple but interesting card design for you. I’m calling it the Flap Card. I have decorated my Flap Card with the carry over ‘Country Road’ stamp set which I love and definitely need to use lots more! Keep reading for the quick tutorial.
I love that this card is quick to make and looks great too, especially if you decorate the inside panel to match. I have created a collage look for the front panel using a combination of Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Bermuda Bay & Coastal Cabana.  Finished off with a simple greeting (Rooted in Nature) and some Burlap Ribbon.

Here’s a quick tutorial - save it to your Fun Folds / Tutorial Pinterest boards

Make the inside great too, by continuing the stamping from the front to the inside.
I love this colour combination it could be used for anyone, male, female & kids too.

Masking & Repeat Stamping

I’ve been watching some fab technique videos on You Tube and I came by a great one by Jennifer Maguire showing this technique. Although the below images are from a retired stamp set you could use just about any stamp set to recreate this look.

The first step is to stamp the Pelican image in black ink on the white panel.
Next & I should have kept and taken a photo of the post it note mask I made! Stamp the pelican on a post it note
and carefully cut it out, place this over the image on the white cardstock.
Stamp the sentiment many times down the card front in Pear Pizzaz except for one stand out which is in Black.
Remove the mask and your image is revealed!

I kept the inside super simple by sta, ping the pelican a few more times here too
