NEW Artfully Composed Suite

Happy new year!! Let’s kick the year off with a stunning card fold that I learnt from Lyssa from Song of My Heart Stampers in the USA. I have used a fabulous new bundle from the Jan-June Mini catalogue and I’m absolutely digging it!!!

Watch this video tutorial to learn how to make it

This card sold suits any BUNDLE .. go on try it!

The inside writing panels are on the thin side, they can be as simple or as decorated as you like as with the  middle Accordian part. This fold does suit a simple or plain piece of DSP. I have created both types here.

Measurements:

How to glue the main inside panel…d glue nor end, tjen fold up the accordion, add glue to the other end and close the card shut

The card front

The insides are so impressive!

Here’s the other one I made … loving the ribbon it frays beautifully

Vellum & white inside

A bold & striking colour palette

Feliz cumpleaños- Chocolate Favours with Celebrate Sunflowers

Let’s take a look at how easy we can decorate some chocolates as party favours. I’ve made these plenty times before and I love how you can tailor the design to suit your theme.

These chocolates are from Aldi - delicious and super affordable as party favours.

Sneak peak!

Here they are! Decorated with a Petal Pink cardstock base then a rectangle cut out of shimmery card stock (this one was a pink holo) finally I cut out some Sunflowers with Glimmery pink paper.

Don’t they look great?!

Here’s the complete look

Thank You with Count on Me & Plentiful Plants

Todays post is a very special one. Recently one of my family members suffered a big heart attack and survived! Thankfully he’s on a good recovery plan with lots of support. They wanted to say thank you to the amazing medical people involved so I created these cards. I love them all.

Some of the dies (thank you) are retired but you could easily create any verse with the latest alphabet dies. To accompany the cards my sister suggested I make some cookies to match. She knows me so well! So the whole family jumped on a video call and watched me make the cookies. It was very fun and felt very comforting to have everyone in the same room … even if only ion video.

For the cards I embossed the first 2 backgrounds with my new favourite emboss folder called TASTEFUL TEXTILE. The cute kangaroo is from Count on Me.
I used a cool trick for the thank you - cut multiple of the same die, layer them together slightly off centre to create a shadow effect.

For the nurses card - I used the new zigzag die from Basic Borders Dies to create a heart beat signal. For the sentiment I combined 2 stamps from Plentiful Plants - can you tell which ones?
The nurses hat is made from a label die out of Garage Gear (retired)

For the last card I mainly used circle died to create rings and cut them to shape the stethoscope - easy - only a touch fiddly to glue down!

Such a great colour combination!
Here’s my cookie sesh…

These took hours! But it was so rewarding and they looked amazing!

Corner Flip Card & Last minute Christmas Cards

Todays card is not a new design - I’ve used it before! This card never fails to impress & it’s so very easy!
Make a corner flip card (link to Dawn Olchefske) make sure you have a nice sharp blade in your trimmer - if you need replacements let me know

The inside also needs some Stampin love

It’s a HOT combo!

Did you notice these little tree die cuts?
I don’t know whichI like best, with or without the pink trees?

I always run out of card! So with some bits n pieces I had on the desk I quickly put these together. The main products used was the Alphabet Dies & scraps of DSP

Check it some of my previous versions:
