Sunflowers and Butterflies - Chain Card Swap for Genna

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about xx and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the beginning and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 4th in the chain for this round and have created this peek-thru card. I've used some now retired products but you could use any emboss folder and stamp set to create something similar,
Lets take a closer look at this card. The Sunflower emboss folder is a MUST have item, the detail is so beautiful, can you see it peeking thru the middle of my card?
The butterflies were fun to stamp using the masking technique to create the illusion of layered butterflies. I also then really enjoyed colouring with these pink, purple and medium brown stampin blends.
Some butterflies for the inside paenel too, along with some hand drawn dots with my Stampin' blends
Although retired now - this is a stamp set I have reached for many times, I love the sentiments, the wording and the fonts used are among my favourite go to.

Pop out Boardwalk Fun - Chain Card Swap for Cheryl

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Cheryl and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the beginning and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 8th in the chain for this round and have created a Panelled pop out card using some current Summer mini catalogue items. I think every panel has some DSP covering it - such a great way to use some of those 'less heavily patterned' DSP sheets.
I love the Arches dies and every chance I get to use them, I do! This card was CALLING for the arches. I think it looks great with the Ferris wheel poking from the side and the silhouettes of the palm trees.
Lets take a closer look at this card. The palm trees and first Arch frame is cut from Blackberry Bliss. This colour is beautiful, but if I'm honest I usually find it very hard to use. I'm so glad to see it match so well with the Beach Boardwalk DSP.
The pop out arms are 3 lengths of carstock, adhered under the decorative DSP layers so it looks like one big endless card.
Above view, even the inside is decorated with DSP!
We can never forget the writing panel, this time found on the back of the card.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this bundle and suite! Grab it before it sells out.

Double Gate Fold Open Ocean In the Sky - Chain Card Swap for Julia

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Julia and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the beginning and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 3rd in the chain for this round and have created a super awesome Ocean in the Sky, Double gate fold card. I'm so proud of this card, its exactly how I wanted it to turn out.
Lets take a closer look at this card. The whale and dophin images are from Along the Lines stamp set, which when I first saw it, I knew immediately I needed this set in my stash. I have white embossed them onto the coloured cardstocks to match the (retired) Everyday Skies DSP background - which reminds me of a beautiful heavenly sky.  The sentiment is from the Kintsugi suite.
One of my most favourite cards to create this chain swap.
A sneak peek of the inside panels also covered with DSP from Everyday Skies, leaving the middle panel with plenty of writing space.
View from above, this fun fold is made up of 2 pieces
Back panel - 1/4 A4 sheet, 10.5cm x 14.9cm
Double gate fold panel - 1/2 A4 lengthways cut at 10.5cm x 28cm, scored at 5cm, 9.5cm, 18.5cm & 23cm
I have thoroughly enjoyed using this stamp set, I'm sad to see it go! Make sure you grab a copy before it sells out,

Pamper Panel Card - Chain Card Swap for Nancy

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Nancy and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the beginning and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 8th in the chain for this round and have created a PAMPER card.
Using the Hobby Haven DSP pack I choose a die cut to use for my main focal point and then matched the DSP for the background panels.
Lets take a closer look at this card. I used the Dotted Circles Emboss folder on the Soft Sea Foam card base, it reminded me of bubbles.  Next up was the Pecan Pie panel and DSP panel, cut into 3 panels, I mixed the order to make it a little more eclectic.
I really loved picking the colours and am so happy with the colour combination - Soft Sea Foam, Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink.
A little love for the inside the match the front.

Collage Stamping with Cheers and Sips - Chain Card Swap for Carolina! Thats me.

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about ME and the CASES of my card. I encourage you to start here, at the beginning and follow along to see the progression of this card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

This is my round and I have created a Collage of images using nearly every single image in Cheers and Sips. Although this Suite has recently retired - you can recreate this look with any stamp set that has at least 3 images. Its fun, colourful and easy to do!

Lets take a closer look at this card. I darkened up the edges of this front stamped panel with some Crumb Cake ink and my large blending brush, Its a subtle . I tore a piece of Masking paper (item 155480) to protect where I was going to stamp my sentiment "Cheers Cheers Cheers"
I had so much fun stamping ALLLLL those images in all my favourite colours.
Have you tried this technique before? Did you love or hate it?
I continued the theme to the inside, masking the bottom and stamping along the bottom of the card.
I loved using this Suite -thank you Cheers & Sips!
