Skateboard Fun for #GDP005

With 2 little boys and friends all with boys too, I must ensure I have an endless supply of Boy Birthday cards! Well thats the excuse anyway.
I was inspired by the designers over at the Global Design Project with challenge #GDP005
I love this card!! I've kept it fairly simple buts here's what I did.
I started by stamping the skateboards with Basic Gray Archival Ink and then snipped them out. I added a bit of dimension by using the coordinating marker to the bottom edge of the skateboard. Adding circles to the background  just makes the skateboards POP don't you think? Love love love!

Here are the card measurements so you too can create this card:
  • Standard Australian C6 card base in Soft Sky Cardstock (half A4 sheet)
  • Basic Gray Frame -  3-5/8" x 5-3/8"
  • Whisper White Panel -  3-1/2" x 5-1/4"
Get inspired with this colour swatch, feel free to share and pin it!

  3. You're amazing Carolina! Love the circles and the two rounded ends on the card stock match the skate-boards, very clever. Love the added shadowing on the boards and the cut up sentiment. Thanks so much for supporting us again at the Global Design Project, always nice to see your name. xo
