Welcome to the ESAD New Catalogue Favourites Blog Hop. We're so excited to share our projects and we're certain that you will find great tips and inspiration from all our creations. I really had to think hard over which were my new favourite items from the new catalogue...... said NO crafter ever!! I knew instantly my top 3 items that I would pick for this Hop. The full lineup below will help you move along the hop, so grab a cuppa and enjoy!
** You've Got Style Stamp Set **I'm in love with this set! I've given the ladies some real funk in her step by choosing vibrant colours for their outfits. I can't bring myself to call them 'old ladies' so well just call them Betty & Doris.
** Lemon Lime Twist **This colour might not be everyone's cup of tea - but it screams HAPPY, FRESH & FUNKY to me. I loved this colour growing up it pairs really easily with any pink or orange aswell as with blacks and blues.
** Embossing Paste ** I feel like I've been living under a rock!! Amazing & so easy to use. Embossing Paste really adds something special to your projects. But make sure you wash your tools quickly, it dries so fast! Good for your project, not great for your tools.
Betty is adorable and so full of life. She's cool and I had fun colouring all the details in her outfit. I sponge shaded the background with some ink pad ink then added the Emboss Paste over the top.
There's something about the greeting that reminds me of the Brit TV show Absolutely Fabulous
"I just need some 'Bolly' now!"
"I just need some 'Bolly' now!"
Doris is much more elegant with her fur coat and glass of champagne! This time I added a drop of reinker ink to the Emboss Paste and spread it over the Whisper White cardstock. one drop goes a long way. Then I used a marker to colour the coat. Have you ever seen a Lime coat before?!
Using Mixed Drinks stamp set, I carried over the champagne glass to the inside.
If you like the colour combination, please share it on your favourite Pinterest board!
