Welcome to another week of What Will You Stamp? To participate in this week's challenge and to see all th great projects from the Design team using this set be sure to visit the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog. This week we were challenged to use the Santa's Suit Stamp set.
I have made a simple card for today's challenge with a beautiful medallion as the focal point of this card. I love a non-traditional Christmas card and the Rich a Razzleberry Santa hat just finishes this notecard off perfectly. I used My new Stampin' Blends to colour the hat. It's more obvious in the next picture, but I added some 'fluff' to it with my embossing Paste. I carefully applied it on, so that it only covered the Pom Pom and hat rim. The embossed avkground gives it a subtle textured look.
First of all I stamped the sentiment onto whisper white and cut it out with the 1-1/4" circle punch. The next 2 frames are Rich Razzleberry (1-1/2" circle) & Silver Glimmer (Scallop oval Die). To make the Ruffled edge, I cut 2 1-1/2" circles, one in cardstock, the other out of adhesive sheet, then stuck them together. Peel off the backing and carefully gather& stick the ribbon all the way around the circle, overlapping a bit at the end.
If you like the colour combination, please share it on your favourite Pinterest board!
