Christmas Gate Fold Card with Beauty & Joy

It’s only 7 weeks till Christmas! That’s insane. I’m lucky these cute Gate Fold cards are easy to make. I started by stamping this cute Topiary tree from the new ‘Beauty & Joy’ set from the Holiday catalogue in Shaded Spruce (my absolute favourite green right now), Soft Suede & Real Red for the berries. Then using Rectangle dies I cut out the Topiary panel then a frame from Real Red cardstock. 

The C6 card base is gate folded in Crumb Cake cardstock. I stamped ‘berries’ in Real Red directly onto the cardbase - top left & bottom right sides & glued some DSP in the opposite corners.

Make sure you decorate the front before sticking the Red frame and white Topiary panels.

Fold the cardbase closed, start by glueing the white panel down (glue only the right half!) followed by the red frame (this time glue the left side only) this way will ensure the 2 don’t ‘crash’ into each other.

Don’t forget to add a Copper Star embellishment (pg31 Holiday Catalogue)
