High Tea Cups

Welcome back for another project! Our Crazy Crafters are being highlighted over at our wonderful Mentor's blog - thank you so much Kylie Bertucci you are the best!
I love tea! My in laws are English, who are famous for loving tea! I'm Chilean, and the Chileans are called the 'English of South America'. They have 'tesito' {cuppa time} everyday religiously around 4pm. It's more of a sit down pre-dinner really, breads, ham, cheese, cakes, pastries! In Chilean culture a cup of tea is not complete without all the extras!
I used the 'Cups & Kettles Framelits Dies' to create these stacking teacups. I was inspired by the coordinating stamp set 'A Nice Cuppa' which has a stacked cups stamp (pg 35 Occasions catalogue).
I ran it through the big shot 3 times, starting with the middle cup. Then turning the Whisper White cardstock over to 'flip' the cup image.
Try making this card! Here are the measurements for you:
  • Aussie C6 card base in Whisper White Thick cardstock
  • Melon Mambo Frame 3-7/8" x 5-5/8"
  • Whisper White Panel 3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!

  2. I love this card. Did you hand draw your dotted lines around your tea cups? I'm glad you told how to color your paper because I thought you had a different paper stack then we did. I know, I forgot we're Global. I think global is great, so much more fun!
