High Tea Cups

Welcome back for another project! Our Crazy Crafters are being highlighted over at our wonderful Mentor's blog - thank you so much Kylie Bertucci you are the best!
I love tea! My in laws are English, who are famous for loving tea! I'm Chilean, and the Chileans are called the 'English of South America'. They have 'tesito' {cuppa time} everyday religiously around 4pm. It's more of a sit down pre-dinner really, breads, ham, cheese, cakes, pastries! In Chilean culture a cup of tea is not complete without all the extras!
I used the 'Cups & Kettles Framelits Dies' to create these stacking teacups. I was inspired by the coordinating stamp set 'A Nice Cuppa' which has a stacked cups stamp (pg 35 Occasions catalogue).
I ran it through the big shot 3 times, starting with the middle cup. Then turning the Whisper White cardstock over to 'flip' the cup image.
Try making this card! Here are the measurements for you:
  • Aussie C6 card base in Whisper White Thick cardstock
  • Melon Mambo Frame 3-7/8" x 5-5/8"
  • Whisper White Panel 3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!

A Wisteria Watermelon Wasabi Word Card

I didn't realise there were so many W items in our catalogues! This is a W card = Words, Washi, Wisteria Wonder, Wild Wasabi, Watermelon Wonder, Watercoloyr Wash & White Accent dots.
Wow that was a mouth full. It's quite a bright and electic card! I liked that I could create my own greeting using different words from all the thinlits - see where I plucked them from below. Hope you enjoy this card, I'd love to hear what greetings you've created with your thinlits?
Over the Washi tape I created a quick and fun 3D flower using the 1-1/4" scallop circle punch from the silky smooth Cotton Paper. I secured it with a Candy Dot Brad.
Here are the card measurements so you too can create this card:
  • Standard Australian C6 card base in Wisteria Wonder Cardstock (half A4 sheet)
  • Whisper White Frame - 3-7/8" x 5-5/8"
  • Watermelon Wonder Frame -   3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
  • Whisper White Panel - 3-5/8" x 5-3/8"

Big News - Happily Ever After In English Garden Tones

It's always lovely to help celebrate someone's special day. This card I made for a fellow Crazy Crafter who recently got hitched! It's also a card I taught at my craft class and the ladies there loved it too.
Using the English Garden DSP as inspiration I matched the colours to my inks and cardstock. I've carried the pattern through to the top section of the card with a cute flower motif from Hostess Set A Whole Lot of Lovely, and the main sentiment is from Big News - one of my favourite sets for sentiments. I have used some retired ribbon to cover up the join in papers, there are plenty new ones to choose from, do love the cut angle on the end there?
Here are the card measurements so you too can create this card:
  • Standard Australian C6 card base in Crumb Cake Cardstock (half A4 sheet)
  • Night of Navy Frame - 3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
  • Whisper White Panel (top) - 2" x 5-3/8" (overlap with the DSP panel when glueing)
  • English Garden Panel - 2" x 5-3/8"

NEW! Jingle All the Way with Sleigh Ride Edgelit Dies #JAI274

I'm very lucky to have received my new Holiday Catalogue products before the weekend! And needless to say it was a GREAT weekend ...Crafting of course!
I hope its not too early to start sharing Christmas cards but I have lots of new items to show you.

I made this card by using the new 'Sleigh Ride Edgelit Dies'. These are so great with beautiful designs which you can mix and match for any occasion not just christmas. I went with a colour wash look that  fits in nicely with the Challenge this week over at Just Add Ink (keep reading to see the inspirational pic).
I used all 3 Edgelit dies here - Houses, Trees & Santa's sleigh. You'll notice I trimmed one of the trees on  the Suede panel just so it wasn't the same as the Crumb cake. Then I also trimmed the Sleigh and added Santa to the night sky! He's been glued directly to the Black cardbase.
Now, I'm hoping you've noticed the Vellum with Gold Snowflakes!! Umm its gorgeous and this Vellum comes in a 6"x6" stack with lots of other beautiful GOLD & BLACK designs - all vellum!
How cute is the wooden snowflake - yup I asked for more wooden embellishments and Stampin' Up! delivered.  These come in pack of 24 with 2 other designs (8 each, 3 designs).
So once you get your hot little hands on these awesome products (from Sept 1st) here are the card measurements so you too can create this card:
  • Standard Australian C6 card base in Basic Black Cardstock (half A4 sheet)
  • NEW! Winter Wonderland Vellum Panel - 3-3/4" x 2"
  • Soft Suede Panel -  3-3/4" x 3-1/4"
  • Crumb Cake Panel -  3-3/4" x 2-1/2"
  • Whisper White Panel - 3-3/4" x 2"
Todays card was isnpired by the lovely designers over at Just Add Ink with this inspirational picture

NEW Merry Moments DSP inspired Punch Art Design Cards

I hope you enjoyed yesterdays post on the upcoming Bohemian DSP. Today I have another set of cards for you as promised. It feels like its way too early to be getting all Chrismassy, however if you haven't noticed dear friends - we are nearly HALF way through this year! Now this means 2 things: Firstly, I can't rave on hard enough that the new Annual Catalogue will be available to everyone on June 2nd, and secondly its also time to get ready for your Christmas in July parties!

How cool is this... Stampin' Up! have brought back a Christmas section to their annual catalogue  - yay!! So today's cards I designed around patterns featured in the NEW Merry Moments Designer Series Paper.  Please leave me a comment I'd love to hear what you think and don't forget to Pin my cards on Pinterest too!

Here is a picture of Merry Moments from the Gold Coast Convention May 2015
I love the traditional Christmas tones - I will have to wait until June 2nd before I can order this paper!
