My inspiration came from France's project that highights a Tunnel card. I love the fun fold in this card. It's kind of like a pop up but with a beautiful window to peek through.

I was also inspired by Kylie & Stephanie's cards from earlier this week.

I'm so pleased to see the "Land to Sea" (pg 98) stamp set return this year! When I saw France's card I immediately thought of the beautiful Octopus and how gorgeous it would look swimming in the middle of the tunnel - so I got crafty!
Try making this card! Here's how to create a tunnel card...
  • Cut an A4 sheet in half - you will need both pieces for this Tunnel card
  • Score one A5 sheet in half  at 4-1/8"
  • Score the other A5 sheet at 2-1/8", 4-1/8" & 6-1/8"
  • Cut any shape you want from the middle of the sheet with 3 score lines
  • After all your stamping and embellishing, adhere the 2 bases together only adding glue to the end panels.
I totally love the new COPPER Embossing powder! The colour is so true and feels like real copper. To create the scalloped edges on the greeting, I embossing a plain piece of whisper white by just stamping my versamark ink over some paper and covering it with emboss powder. I then cut out 2 'badges' using the new Best Badges punch! I embossed the Octopus onto Vellum and fussy cut him out. Haven't seen this greeting anywhere?? Well that's because I created it myself using the new Brushwork Alphabet stamp set, (with the retired rotary stamp) - I'm l Loving the font
It's been ages since I last stenciled. This is super easy to do. Using your swirly bird coordinating framelits I cut the waves out from printer paper.  Some scrap or thicker cardstock would work even better. I sellotaped the ends back in place. How EASY is that?
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed seeing my project please leave me a comment I'd love to hear what you think!  There are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Please check the line up list to see who is up next!
