Welcome to another Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. We're so excited to share our projects and we're certain that you will find great tips and inspiration from all our creations. Joining us today is Billie Moan from the USA! We've all selected a project to CASE {Copy & Selectively Edit} from our very special guest. The full lineup below will help you move along the hop, so grab a cuppa and enjoy!
I have chosen this great project to CASE. I really like this stamp set and this card caught my eye straight away. The layers.. ohh, you know I love to layer so I have used the card layout and its brightness as my main inspiration.
I have used Sweet Cupcake for this hop. Can you believe this is actually my first time inking up this stamp set?! I bet we all have a few sets like that, but I will definately use this one again. It's a lot of fun and the triple step stamping is not as scary as I initially thought.
I've gone bright and boldwith the colours. Using Pop of Pink DSP and GOLD embossing too for the final frosting step. I tried to add a crinkle to the Melon Mambo DSP on this card. However it didn't quite 'crinkle' like Billie's card. I think I prefer the smooth look of the Gold polka dot card but I will try this again maybe with some Glassine or vellum.

ReplyDeleteI love this set too but haven't used it near enough. I totally love that you have done the final step with gold embossing. That is just great.
With crinkling the paper have you tried crinkling it both ways? and even give it a light spritz with water first. :) xx
Awesome tips, thanks Kayla will give that a try!
