I started first with a Die cut heart from the Sweet & Sassy dies (hearts set), but I changed my mind and instead I ended up using the negative piece as a stencil. Using my blushing bride ink pad I pressed over the 'stencil' to create a solid stamped image. *** You'll want to make sure that your stencil is big enough to cover the ink pad and unlike me in the picture turn your ink pad so that you dont stamp the outer edges. *** Just think of the other shapes you could do this with!
To decorate this heart, I stamped the foliage images in black ink. I love to doodle and so with the fine tip of my black stampin' write marker I doodled tiny dots (not part of the stamp set) all over the foliage.
