Masking & Repeat Stamping

I’ve been watching some fab technique videos on You Tube and I came by a great one by Jennifer Maguire showing this technique. Although the below images are from a retired stamp set you could use just about any stamp set to recreate this look. 

The first step is to stamp the Pelican image in black ink on the white panel. 
Next & I should have kept and taken a photo of the post it note mask I made! Stamp the pelican on a post it note
and carefully cut it out, place this over the image on the white cardstock. 
Stamp the sentiment many times down the card front in Pear Pizzaz except for one stand out which is in Black.
Remove the mask and your image is revealed!

I kept the inside super simple by sta,ping the pelican a few more times here too
