As I made this card yesterday I was thinking about how awesome our summer holidays have been. We had some great weather and enjoyed each moment we had together - whether it was on our road trip to NSW & ACT, hanging out on our kayaks, movies in the park or just kicking back at home. We had a great summer break. And now its time to get back into the routine of everyday. So this card represents a bit of reflection of the past few weeks - oh happy day... yes they were.
I stamped the background with stamps from 'Day at the Beach' it creates such a interesting back drop. I then stuck some Pool Party ribbon down to a strip of Garden Green cardstock, pleating it as I stuck it down. It's subtle in colour and I love the ruffled look. The Wisteria Wonder die cut is from the "Flourishing Thinlet Dies" Set
I was inspired by the designers CASE over at the Global Design Project with challenge #GDP072 and by the Colour INKspiration team on Facebook with this awesome colour challenge!
