Birthday Criss Cross Cards

I love giving birthday cards. I love making birthday cards! I especially love the look on a recipients face when they see something unique and handmade by me - it's a special heartwarming feeling.
Here I have created 2 very cool interactive cards known as "Criss Cross" - but not the rapper kind!
I've used the 'Party Wishes Bundle' pg 4 & 5 Occasions Catalogue and the 'Cherry on Top DSP Stack' to create these bright fun cards.

Here is the video that I came across that gave me the idea to creat these cards. Of course I changed the dimensions to meet Australian A4 cardstock sizes!

 

Make this card with A4 Cardstock - there is a join however you can make 2 from just one sheet!

Stacks of Birthday Cards - Its My Party Suite

I always aim to keep a healthy stash of Birthday cards on hand. So today I have created a stack of cards with some of my new favourite toys from the Occasions Catalogue. If you haven't got your copy yet, and you live in Australia - drop me an email and I will happy to send you one out.

I have used a new Birthday Suite of products called "Its My Party" - love love love them all!
These fun and bright Melon Mambo cards were created with the 'Its My Party Washi Tapes', a few matching Enamel dots and simple birthday greetings stamped from 'Party Wishes'. Viola! Simple easy and the all under 30 minutes to create!

Try making these cards! Here are the measurements for you:

• Aussie C6 card bases in Melon Mambo cardstock
• Whisper White Frame 3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
• Mint Macaron Panel 3-3/8" x 5-1/8"
• Whisper White Panel 3-1/4" x 5"
• Layer Washi tape to your hearts content across the white cardstock

Make a Tip Top Taupe Wish for #GDP015

I love exploring all the possibilities with my crafting supplies and today I have toned it down!
Coming soon is a brand new Paper Stack - 48 pages of birthday goodness called 'It's My Party'.
The natural crafting instinct is to use the beautiful bright pages (which I have done, don't get me wrong! Keep coming back for those projects in the coming weeks!) but why not pick out all the neutral patterns to create a fun card for anyone!

I was inspired by the designers sketch over at the Global Design Project with challenge #GDP015

I've used lots of new products from mini 'birthday' punches, cordinating stamps and new DSP!
Here is my neutral Tip Top Taupe card..

• Whisper White Frame 3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
• x3 DSP Panels 1-1/4" x 5-3/8"(overlap them & glue)
