Cake Soirée #wwys160

Welcome to another week of What Will You Stamp? To participate in this week's challenge and to see all the great projects from the Design team using this set be sure to visit the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog. This week we were challenged to use Caje Soirée Stamp set. I love this set and I really hope it makes it to the NEW annual catalogue coming June 1st!

I have made a sweet flower wreath with the same flower image. I'm so lucky this image has its own Die - I'm not sure I would have had the patience to sit & fussy cut x12 flowers.  How lovely is the new Basket Weave 3D embossing folder?? I know for sure this WILL be in the new catty and can't wait to use it on lots of projects. 

The sentiment is stamped on a separate circle cut out. I have used the circle edge as a guide for sticking my wreath flowers. 

After working out the order of the colours & using a clock as reference, I first stuck down the 12 o'clock & 6 o'clock Flowers.  Followed by 2,4,8 & 10 (stuck flat with TomBow), then with a dimension behind the remainder, I stuck 1,3,5,7,9 & 11.

Sweet Soirée Cake Card - CASEing

Thank you to Laura Milligan (see below for Laura's card) for today's inspiration with my favourite Occasions bundle - Sweet Soirée! Laura's card instantly caught my eye with its layout and colour scheme. I have added some extra layers to my CASE. I started by stamping the background with the Rose image. I love doing this, but never do it enough! I also embossed the Very Vanilla cardstock with a new Embossing folder Petal Pair TIEF in the Petal Passion Suite

I added colour with my Stampin Blends - Pool Party, Old Olive & Blushing Bride.

The matching Die set comes complete with Cake stand & a bow for on top!

Happy 70th Birthday with Sweet Soirée Embellishment kit

I quickly whipped up this card using products from the new Sweet Soirée suite. By far this is my favourite suite so far and I totally didn't even expect to be that into it!  The DSP is just divine, each sheet has silver foil, and its textured too, some parts look like papier mache. The Cake & numbers are from the coordinating embellishment kit, it's so cool they are pre-cut and ready to be added to any project. 

Even the Embellishment Kit has all the Silver trimmings

Sweet Soirée Suite - Appreciation Cards

Eeeekk! Someone got their pre-order goodies!!! I quickly whipped up these thank you cards using products from the new Sweet Soirée suite. The DSP is just divine, each sheet has silver foil. Can you see the outlines of the flowers below? The cardbase background is stamped with images from Perennial Birthday & I finished the card off with a silver Die cut flower from the coordinating 'Sweet Cake Framelit Dies'. These are super cute and a great way to show off this beautiful paper. 

I hadn't noticed until I was taking some pictures that the paper is also textured - see the petals?

I'm loving the colour combo - I was inspired by the colours of the DSP.
