I'm feeling the Framed Art this week! If you haven't yet got this Perfect Peacock single stamp - you
will want to get it! Hopefully I can convince you after you see what I
have created with it. I saw this stamp beautifully showcased at my very
first Stampin' Up! event in 2014. I got to meet all the who's who
of Stampin' Up! including Shelli Gardiner herself!!! It was Shelli's project that I
have CASE'd here. She presented this gorgeous peacock stamp on a card that
had a light green paint wash as the background. Do you remember? I fell in love and have been meaning for ages to create something similar but in purples.
I just used
my purple markers to colour and highlight the feathers. I only coloured
the outlines, I didnt want to be too perfect about it. To really make the image jump off the page I added touches of gold with a gel pen. I should have
waited to get my Gold Wink of Stella!! (which has now arrived yipee)
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!
