Christmas Banner for Lets Craft Together Blog Hop

Feliz Navidad! Merry Christmas and welcome back to another Let's Craft Together Blog Hop! This months theme is Decorate the Christmas Tree. What a novel idea - to create something to decorate the tree! So many possibilities.

I have created a Peaceful Christmas Banner. It fits in perfectly with the doves and ponsietta flowers in my tree.

Lets take a closer look at this project.

I began by die cutting letters from glimmer paper. I like to bring a little of my own culture to each christmas so spelling out Feliz Navidad was easy with the Mini Alphabet die set. 

I adhered each letter to a 1' circle cut out. Each DSP banner measures 2-1/2 ' x 2", I cut out a little banner edge to each one. 

I added a few bows for a sweet touch...

... along with some Hues of Blue Flower embellishments

It looks great in the tree and matchs the colours of my tree decorations so well!

Daisy Wreath for Lets Craft Together Blog Hop

 Welcome back to another Let's Craft Together Blog Hop! This months theme is to use a Non Christmas product to make a Christmas project. Lets see if my project passes the chistmassy test!

I have created a daisy wreath, what do you think? 

I've used a combination of stamps from Natural Botanicals, Peace on Earth and the masking technique to make this card. Plus I strongly believe the colours Ive chosen make it oh so chrismassy - Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Summer Splash

Lets take a closer look at this card

I took inspiration from my recent Bunnings purchase, this beautiful Daisy plant

I started out by marking a circle on a square sheet of Basic White cardstock, this is what I used to stamp the daisies on, x5 times in full colour Cherry Cobbler, and inbetween stamped off once in Cherry Cobbler. 

Heres the final result - I added some colour with Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin Blend markers

I made my project into a Gate Fun Fold with a Belly Band, such a fun way to elevate a card

The daisy and leaf images from this stamp set were the perfect size to create a wreath with.

3D Stand up Fancy Christmas Card with Snowy Scenes DSP

Today I'm sharing with you a FANCY FANCY christmas card! This card is not for the light hearted, you are going to be using LOTS of your treasured DSP, I mean LOTS!

Begin with creating the base, you will need x2 1/2 A4 sheets, glued together to create a 3 panel card. 

It should look like this when it stands up

Decorate x5 panels with a combination of embossed cardstock and a sheet of DSP.
You will need x5 cardstock pieces measuring 5cm x 14.5cm each (dont forget to emboss these) & the same for x5 DSP sheets measuring 5cm x 14.5cm each

For the 6th panel - the centre writing panel - add a panel of Basic White 10cm x 14cm

Keep decorating all the way around, add stamped images or punched out greeting, enjoy!

Christmas Hexagon card with Reindeer Days DSP

Today I'm sharing a fun christmas card! This project will help you to use up all those little scrap pieces of Designer Paper that you just cant bear to throw away.  

Lets take a closer look at this card. I started by punching out 8 hexagons using the vibrant pack of Reindeer Days DSP. Then glue then to a sheet of cardstock or paper measuring 9.5cm x 13.5cm

Turn over and cut off the excess 

Add a greeting, a base frame (Real Red 10cm x 14cm) and glue it to your card base (Pool Party 1/2 A4)

Definitely don't forget the inside!

Its a Christmas Colour Challenge - Lets Craft Together Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Let's Craft Together Blog Hop! This months theme is a Christmas Colour Challenge. At first glance I wasnt sure how I was going to make the colours work, but I reached for my Decorative Tree Dies and created my most favourite christmas card yet!

I have created a layer of trees in Pretty Peacock, Cherry Cobbler and Moody Mauve.

What makes these trees POP - the Metallic Gold layer over the top definately elevates them to the next level. I've opted for a 'no sentiment' front instead making you zoom in on the gorgeous trees and their detail.

Lets take a closer look at this card.

I used the same Snowflake detailed die for each tree but only raised the middle tree (Cherry Cobbler) with foam dimensionals. 

As I didn't add a sentiment to the front of the card I definitely added one to the inside.
