Christmas Hexagon card with Reindeer Days DSP

Today I'm sharing a fun christmas card! This project will help you to use up all those little scrap pieces of Designer Paper that you just cant bear to throw away.
Lets take a closer look at this card. I started by punching out 8 hexagons using the vibrant pack of Reindeer Days DSP. Then glue then to a sheet of cardstock or paper measuring 9.5cm x 13.5cm
Turn over and cut off the excess
Add a greeting, a base frame (Real Red 10cm x 14cm) and glue it to your card base (Pool Party 1/2 A4)
Definitely don't forget the inside!
Thanks so much for stopping by and hopefully I have inspired your creativity. I love reading your comments, be sure to leave me a quick hello below!

Abstract Beauty SDSP - Congratulations Split Card

Today we have a fun congratulations card using the Split Front Card Fun fold. I’m loving this card fold it’s so easy and encourages me to use my (hoarded!) DSP to decorate.
Peaceful Moments is still available!
I created the Grad cap with a retired punch, brad & some ribbon
Don’t forget to carry the design to the inside
Soft, but beautiful colour combo

Thank You with Count on Me & Plentiful Plants

Todays post is a very special one. Recently one of my family members suffered a big heart attack and survived! Thankfully he’s on a good recovery plan with lots of support. They wanted to say thank you to the amazing medical people involved so I created these cards. I love them all.

Some of the dies (thank you) are retired but you could easily create any verse with the latest alphabet dies. To accompany the cards my sister suggested I make some cookies to match. She knows me so well! So the whole family jumped on a video call and watched me make the cookies. It was very fun and felt very comforting to have everyone in the same room … even if only ion video.

For the cards I embossed the first 2 backgrounds with my new favourite emboss folder called TASTEFUL TEXTILE. The cute kangaroo is from Count on Me.
I used a cool trick for the thank you - cut multiple of the same die, layer them together slightly off centre to create a shadow effect.

For the nurses card - I used the new zigzag die from Basic Borders Dies to create a heart beat signal. For the sentiment I combined 2 stamps from Plentiful Plants - can you tell which ones?
The nurses hat is made from a label die out of Garage Gear (retired)

For the last card I mainly used circle died to create rings and cut them to shape the stethoscope - easy - only a touch fiddly to glue down!

Such a great colour combination!
Here’s my cookie sesh…

These took hours! But it was so rewarding and they looked amazing!

Rainbow Daisies Slimline Card

A rainbow can brighten anyone’s day! I made this card to celebrate happiness, love and life. We should all have these things and it’s times like now (pandemic times) that really reminds me of what’s important.
During our recent lockdown I got back into zumbaring on zoom. One of our themed nights was…. You guessed it!

This card was super easy to create and I’d love to make some other colours too. All you need is some coloured cardstock some punches and adhesives. I embellished mine with some fancy gems (retired item) and an embossed greeting.

This stamp set is brand new I didn’t want to ink it up, it looked so perfect!

Well stamps all start like that but we must get them messy!

To make a fuller daisy - make sure to cut x2 glue them together and you’re done. The background polka dot paper is from old DSP. Check out the DSP sale on the online shop.

Last minute touches, I added some line markings with my Stampin Write markers.

Colours colours colours…

As of NOW this sale is ON! Don’t miss out

Pet Sympathy Card with the Cat Punch

Sadly some friends let’s have died lately so these super quick to make cards and in handy. Using just the CAT Punch to create a fun background these took so little time to make I whipped up 2 of them in a few minutes. The great thing about the cat image is once it’s punched you can reverse some images. The sentiment is from ‘Better Together’. I can’t wait for the new Occasions Catalogue (available Jan 5th) where there’s going to be a DOG punch - this will definately be on my Wishlist.
Clean and simple card making
I like the ombré feel of this colour combination

Here’s another combination you could try.
