Welcome to another week of What Will You Stamp? To participate in this week's challenge and to see all the great projects from the Design team using this set be sure to visit the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog or simply click the photo below.
This week we were challenged to use the Tap, Tap, Tap Stamp set.
http://whatwillyoustamp.blogspot.com.au/2016/05/wwys-challenge-66-tap-tap-tap.html
This weeks post is the last one for the current Annual Catalogue - which means from next week you will be seeing ALL NEW Stamp sets from the NEW CATALOGUE!!!! However we have a job to do and that is to showcase this gorgeous set. If you haven't got this stamp set - you better hurry its only available for one more day! (31st May).

Have you ever created a Very Vanilla card before? If you think it will be too flimsy, the trick is to layer the front of the card as I have with at least 2 layers (soft suede frame and a dsp panel). It's also a good idea to line the inside of the card in the same way - a frame and a writing panel. These layers will help strengthen the cardbase so that it stands on its own without folding in on itself.

So many notes! I could not help myself but layer the back of this super cool typewriter with lots of dimensionals! I also gently cut with a stanley knife the tiny thin tape on the typewriter and slide my *note* paper down in & behind.
Follow the vanilla brick road all the way to South America! Thats where my sister lives, she will love receiving this card.

Try making this card! Here are the measurements for you:
  • Square card base in Very Vanilla Cardstock 5-12" x 5-1/2"
  • Soft Suede Frame 5-1/8" x 5-1/8"
  • Going Places DSP Panel 5" x 5"
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed seeing my project please leave me a comment I'd love to hear what you think! Now, get stamping and submit your project over at WWYS#66

International Stampin' Up! Retiring Product Blog Hop

Welcome to our International Blog Hop highlighting some of our favourite products that are retiring. We are sure that you will find some incredible inspiration from the projects that you are about to see. You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Studio Evans or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting me Carolina Evans from Melbourne Australia. If you live in Australia and were wanting to purchase some Stampin' Up!® Products I am happy to help you.

I'm really sad to be saying goodbye to some of my all time favourites like Epic Alphabet, Farmers Market DSP and of course some InColours, but I keep reminding myself that a brand new catalogue full of new products for new projects is just around the corner  - 21 days, but who's counting! LOL
Here is my creation - I hope you like it!
I definately had a bit of fun with this card! Firstly I made it SUPER LONG its a full A4 sheet of Blackberry Bliss cardstock folded in half. This one is going to need a super customised envelope!
How about that fun greeting? (Let us turn up the beat) LOL I couldn't help myself. This card is perfect for one of my colleagues who loves to garden and is always bopping along at work.
Whats retiring you ask? All this and loads more.
These letters look great in any colour or combination! Making up your own greetings is fun.
Did you notice the little bite marks? I punched these out with the 7/8" scallop punch.
Can you see something shiney? YES crystal effects has left the building. I think it only lasted on the retirement list for like a day! I have seen a similar result made with the Fine Tip Glue pen.
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!

Crazy Crafters May Blog Hop - CASEing Dena Rekow

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog for May. This month we are excited to be CASE'ing Dena Rekow from USA! Now even better we get to hop along with Dena herself! Woo Hoo!
We hope you find great inspiration from the projects. The full blog lineup below will help you move along to see all the projects. This is a blog hop you will not want to miss out on!

My inspiration came from this project of Dena's. I love the way Dena has used the Typeset DSP (newsprint) line up the background. I also really love the colouring on the focal point of the card - the pops of colour look awesome!
I haven't met Dena (yet anyways) but from studying her projects I can see that she loves the newsprint DSP, stripes and undoubtedly flowers! Her beautiful projects showcase gorgeous flowers. I love flowers too and I have spoilt you with 2 projects today. The first is a flowery gift bag for my Mum - Happy MD to all the mums out there. The second is a mature, masculine one - for my Dad its his 70th Birthday next week. So with Dena's favourites in mind here is what I created.

Try making this Bag! You will need a Stampin' Up! Gift BagPunch Board

  • Cut an A4 sheet of Cherry Cobbler down to 7" x 8-5/8
  • Using the punch board, create a "Large" bag
  • Cut a separate piece of Cherry Cobbler for the top flap 3-5/8" x 5"
  • Score this piece along the longest edge at 2" & 3" to create the top & flap
  • Adhere together, decorate as you wish.
  • See Stampin' Up! Video here
Here is Dena's video tutorial
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!
