Pampered Pets - A Pet Sympathy card

Its always sad when you hear a friends pet has passed away. I like to have some pet sympathy cards on hand for times like these, when all you can really do is show you're thinking of them. As a young girl we never really had pets at home, as an adult I can see why mum and dad said no to pets. They both had their hearts broken when their pets died and were trying to save us the same heartache.

Just a few supplies are needed to created this card. What you'll notice is that I have used the cat and dog dies as shadows.

With a few circle punches (retired items) you can easily create a paw print. I have also seen it done with an upside down heart punch.

We never forget the inside! The paw prints were die cut from the white panel which allows the Pacific Point Frame behind it to shine through.

I was inspired by this card I saw by Alison Solven using the same bundle.
I like how by adding Pacific Point we have a brand new look on this card

Whiskey Business - Quick card for Dad

Today we have a quick mini card for Dad. This stamp set is so very classic and I love that you can colour the liquid to your choosing! I wasn't able to see my dad for Fathers day this year due to the Melbourne lockdown, however we had a great chat over the phone.

I stamped the background very lightly with the orange peel image - it almost could pass as a type of confetti falling. The bottle and glasses are stamped in Memento Black Ink and the liquid is coloured in a mix of Stampin Blends (alcohol markers)

You'll notice the glasses are in front of the bottle... to avoid the stamp lines crossing over each other I have used the post it note Masking technique. Begin by stamping the image at the FRONT, then mask it and stamp your way towards the back.

This neutral colour palette would suit any Mascul.ine theme

Dressed to Impress Waterfall Card

My jaw was on the ground the first time I saw a waterfall card. They are surprisingly easy to make. This style of card definitely suits a stamp set with lots of images such as this one… Dressed to Impress.

Here a quick snapshot of the main supplies

To make this card you will need:

A standard card base (1/2 A4 sheet)
x1 Crushed Curry strip 1-7/8”x9” then scored @ 2”, 2-3/4”, 3-1/2” & 4-1/4”
x4 Basic White squares 1-3/4” squared
x4 Basic Black squares 2” squared
x1 Black strip 1x4-1/8”
Inspired by one of my favourite crafty YouTubers Dawn Griffiths you can see her card idea here https://youtu.be/GtWr9oTV-ow

This last stamped image on the Cryshed Curry piece is a bit like a secret message

Don’t forget the inside panel!

These colours work so fabulously together

Rainbow Daisies Slimline Card

A rainbow can brighten anyone’s day! I made this card to celebrate happiness, love and life. We should all have these things and it’s times like now (pandemic times) that really reminds me of what’s important.
During our recent lockdown I got back into zumbaring on zoom. One of our themed nights was…. You guessed it!

This card was super easy to create and I’d love to make some other colours too. All you need is some coloured cardstock some punches and adhesives. I embellished mine with some fancy gems (retired item) and an embossed greeting.

This stamp set is brand new I didn’t want to ink it up, it looked so perfect!

Well stamps all start like that but we must get them messy!

To make a fuller daisy - make sure to cut x2 glue them together and you’re done. The background polka dot paper is from old DSP. Check out the DSP sale on the online shop.

Last minute touches, I added some line markings with my Stampin Write markers.

Colours colours colours…

As of NOW this sale is ON! Don’t miss out
