Curtain Fold Card - October International Highlights

Major things can happen to us and our family & friends, so it's nice to let them know that we're thinking of them when if it ever does happen. A simple card can make the world of difference.

I think the sentiments from 'So Many Shells' are very heartfelt ones. So I finally tried out the Curtain Fold technique and these sentiments fit perfectly with the theme.

June International Blog Highlights - Spinning Baby Cards

This months theme is Baby projects. So I've created these fun spinning cards. I promise a video tutorial on how to create the whole card but for now I have a quick video of the cards in action! See the video here  I have used Colour Theory DSP to decorate the front and You're So Sweet stamps and Dies to create the spinning star & heart. 

 

 This card has nice clean lines all the way around. The word 'twinkle' has been stamped with Brushstroke Alphabet

 

This card has a more ruffled look (only because I forgot to cut the circle cut outs separately from each panel before adhering together!!) The sentiment has been stamped in versamrk & embossed in silver.

May International Blog Highlights - Masculine Theme

This months theme is Masculine projects. So I've created this Good Luck card which symbolises the journey a young man I know, will make soon into the big wide world.. 

 

The photographic Serene Scenery DSP has made crafting really fun. It's lends itself to so many occasions and when mixed together with stamped images it just looks so awesome. The door (In This World Stamp set) & good luck banner (Banners for You bundle) are also stamped on DSP from the same stack.

 

The Good Luck lettering was stamped in Marina Mist onto the DSP. As it wasn't bright enough I used a black marker to outline the letters. How easy is that?
