Blossoms in Bloom for The Crazy Crafters OnStage at Home Swaps 2020!

Usually we would attend a Stampin’ Up!® event at least once a year onsite, somewhere beautiful with all our Stampin’ Up!® friends and team members. Well 2020 arrived and crashed the party, didn’t it. This of course doesn’t mean that we can’t still have fun at home though. The party continued online this past weekend and we still got involved with our usual swaps. We each made x10 cards and sent to Kylie & Bruno to organise and in return they sent us back x10 random cards.....bet you wanna see them...keep on reading! Here’s my swap to kick off
I love Pool Party & Black together. This blossom die is just beautiful, large & detailed it doesn’t need any introduction it does all the talking for you.
Behind you’ll see an embossed layer with some layers behind the greeting from the same bundle.

As always if you can decorate the inside definitely do it, it makes the card experience flow from front to back.

Some fab colours together, what do you think?

Now for the swaps I received... in no particular order thank you to

Flamingo or Cactus? My Onstage Candle Swaps

Swaps are always a fun part of any Stampin' Up! event. I was lucky enough to spot these cute tea light candles at Kmart on one of my late night shops. My local store is open 24 hrs, so I sometimes go after work which is usually around 9pm. It's surprising how busy it is at that time!
These cuties were a hit and after making nearly 100 I don't ever want to see a cactus or flamingo again! Lol. Just kidding. The little box holder was very easy to make and I was able to make 5 from a sheet of A4 (pic below). I added some retired washi to the tin case - a great way to use up some of that hoarded washi! As I had to fly to Sydney, I took everything ready cut & scored, this was a great idea as they would have got damaged on the way. Over a glass of bubbles I convinced my room mates to help me assemble them in the hotel room. It's always more fun to craft together.

Which are you? FLAMINGO or CACTUS?

Carousel Birthday Swap Cards #CI01

I made these Carousel cards as part of a team swap - I'm rapped with how they turned out! I can't wait to see the swaps I get in return - should be any day now. Todays project was inspired by the Colour INKspiration team on Facebook with their first challenge a couple weeks ago.

Here's what I created....
I added a layer of vellum to the bottom half of the card so that the ribbon and sentiment stood out a bit better against the busy background.
I've created a quick tutorial on how I created the colouring on these ovals - its a fun technique.
Here's the full set!
Love the colour combination? Pin and share it.
