The Country Birdhouse is blooming for Cheryl's Chain Card Swap

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Cheryl and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the hop at Cheryls blog and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 8th in the chain for Round 10 and have created a over-flowering Bird House using items from the Country Woods Suite.

Here's is the card I CASE'd from Sharni. What a great colour combination, i'd almost forgotten we carry Silver & Gold Foil cardstock! I'am also loving Sharni's bouquet, its very full and has all the element with stamped elements, die cut foliage in different colours and some beautiful ribbon too.
Lets take a closer look at this card. You can barely see the birdhouse underneath, but that was intentional. I wanted to create a heavily blooming house and used MANY if not all the small dies from the Country Birdhouse dies set in a variety of colours - Balmy Blue, Pool Party, Petal Pink, Coastal Cabana & Mossy Meadow. The background DSP is from Country Woods DSP - there are so many wonderful wood looking panels.
The inside carries the theme, if you have some left over die cuts they're perfect for adding them here
A great bundle and stamp set with some large and small images that fit great together.

Its time to get your Xmas on with Decorative Trees for the Lets Craft Together Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Let's Craft Together Blog Hop! This months theme is a Sketch Challenge.

I have kick started my christmas cards with this Decorative Trees creation.

Here's the challenge picture. I especially like the sentiment banner coming out off the side and the 2 corner floral arrangements I moved closer together, I've placed 2 christmas trees together.

Lets take a closer look at this card. This new bundle is so awesome! It has a number of tree dies that I cant wait to die cut in different colours. For todays card I have stamped and die cut one tree in Old Olive and die cut the other using the polka dot tree in Granny Apple Green.
The background of the base I stamped in Crumb cake and make a bight bright sentiment in Real Red and white embossed the greeting.
The inside is super simple with plenty of space to write your christmas wishes. I usually personalise each xmas card with a lengthy essay!
This bundle is a great addition to any craft collection, it has lots of tree options and a good variety of sentiments, making it a great value bundle.
If theres anything in the latest catalogue or any of the current product line you'd like to know more about, drop me a line or email, I'd be happy to help (contact me from home page tabs)

The Spotlight is on Leaf Collection and ME for Chain Card Swap!

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about me and the CASES of my card. I encourage you to start here and follow along to see the progression of my card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

Round 9 is all about my card! I have created a bright and colourful InColour card highlighting the Leaf Collection stamp set with the Spotlight technique. I've used some of my favourite products from the Annual catalogue.
This card was created as part of a chain for our Aussie online card group ..
Lets take a closer look at this card.
The Spotlight technique is easy and gives any image an interesting twist. Simply stamp your image onto your cardbase and on another sheet stamp the images again in different colours and cut out with a die or punch. Layer it over the base matching the shape to the background, adding dimensional foam dots helps to elevate the spotlight look.  Have you tried this technique before?
Some of my favourite items are:
* Leaf Collection Background stamp (163610)
* InColor Cardstock (163804)
* Deckled Circle Dies (162286)
* Wanted to Say Dies (161594)

There's nothinng Plane and Simple about this Chain Card Swap for Annette

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Annette and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the blog hop at Annette's blog and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 3rd in the chain for Round 8 and have created a Fun fold card with the Adventurous Sky Bundle and matching DSP.
Here's is the card I CASE'd from Nancy. I loved exploring this card when I received it, The first thing I wow'ed at was the cool fun fold open/close. The Lavender paper is one of my all time favourites so I;m glad she used it!
Lets take a closer look at this card. After deciding on a male card for this project, I grabbed my new favourite bundle. My son wants to be a pilot, so this set was a must have. I have covered the front in panels of DSP. I always measure the cardstock first and then cut the dsp a 1/4" or 1/2cm smaller (just once off the long and short mesuremnt, not from each side) - a guaranteed perfect border everytime!

The Cajun craze tag is also from the paper stack, theres a page full of them. I stamped and die cut the plane, additional clouds and the circles for the sentiment.
The inside writing panel is slightly thinner than usual but so much more interesting as you can see the patterned panel down the side and the front greeting moves to the inside!
This fun fold will work with any paper or occasion.
The meaurements are easy,  scored A5 cardstock in the middle at 14.9cm, off each short side measure 2.5cm (1") CUT one and SCORE the other.

Full of Life Tropical Leaf Chain Card Swap for Tracy

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Tracy and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the blog hop at Tracy's blog and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 2nd in the chain for Round 7 and have created a soft looking yet 'full of life" card with the online exclusive bundle Tropical Leaf.
Here's is the card I CASE'd from Tracy, I love the cute side fun fold flap on this card design showing the DSP. The other aspect I really like is the embossed background, a subtle look in white but love the texture it adds.
Lets take a closer look at my card. I love how the DSP adds that watrercoloured feel but without the effort or mess. This DSP - Full of Life - has ALL the colours! Usually a paper pack has 6-8 colours max, this pack displays over 20 easily.
The front of the card is also created with and an embossed background using Dotted Circle and the featured Tropical leaf, stampe in Balmy Blue and cut with the matching leaf punch.
The theme continues right thru the card
I'm loving the online bundle Tropical Leaf -its simple, affordable and so convenient with the leaf punch right there to help cut out the perfect leaf quickly, its a gret addition to any of your beautiful projects.

Rev your engines Chain Card Swap for Sharni

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Sharni and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the blog hop at Sharni's blog and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 9th in the chain for Round 6 and have created a panelled Motorcycle card!
Here's is the card I CASE'd from Cheryl. I really liked the 3 circles in the background with the focal images in front. I got creating straight away - I knew exactly what I'd be making when this arrived in the post.
Lets take a closer look at this card. I've used the 3 circles above as inspiration for the 3 rectangle panels on my card. I used DSP from the 6x6" stack Bright and Beautiful (lime circles) and die cut them with Deckled Rectangles. The Blue panel behind the 3 panels is also from the same stack.
The inside stamping is straight onto the base!
This stamp set and its coordinating dies are still available online. DM me for more details or head over to my online store.
