Never Stop Exploring for #GDP012 - Casing Brian King

I'm so pleased with how my card turned out - it's exactly as I imagined it in my head and that rarely happens so seamlessly! I was inspired by this weeks challenge over at the Global Design Project with challenge #GDP012.  This week we were asked to CASE a card by none other than the amazingly talented Brian King! He's so awesome! Here is his card.

When you click on over to the Global Design Project you'll probably think I've made the wrong card for this challenge. I almost did! I think mine might be the only non-christmas card - however this is the beauty of CASE'ing a card.  You can choose anything you like about the card to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit). Here is my card which you could call an 'Encouragement' card.

I was inspired by 3 things - the sloping background, 2 penguins (or images) and its a Square card.
Check out my 'ruffle' made just with a long strip of Cotton Paper - pg 148 Annual Catalogue.
Here are the card measurements so you too can create this card:
  • Square card base in Soft Sky Cardstock  4-7/8" x 4-7/8"
  • Whisper White Frame 4-1/2" x 4-1/2"
  • So Saffron Panel - Coming soon FREE! Saleabration DSP! cut to 4-3/8" x 4-3/8"
  • Turquoise SWIRL panel - Panel - Earn it FREE Saleabration DSP! cut to 2-1/2" x 4-3/8"
