There's nothinng Plane and Simple about this Chain Card Swap for Annette

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Annette and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the blog hop at Annette's blog and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 3rd in the chain for Round 8 and have created a Fun fold card with the Adventurous Sky Bundle and matching DSP.
Here's is the card I CASE'd from Nancy. I loved exploring this card when I received it, The first thing I wow'ed at was the cool fun fold open/close. The Lavender paper is one of my all time favourites so I;m glad she used it!
Lets take a closer look at this card. After deciding on a male card for this project, I grabbed my new favourite bundle. My son wants to be a pilot, so this set was a must have. I have covered the front in panels of DSP. I always measure the cardstock first and then cut the dsp a 1/4" or 1/2cm smaller (just once off the long and short mesuremnt, not from each side) - a guaranteed perfect border everytime!

The Cajun craze tag is also from the paper stack, theres a page full of them. I stamped and die cut the plane, additional clouds and the circles for the sentiment.
The inside writing panel is slightly thinner than usual but so much more interesting as you can see the patterned panel down the side and the front greeting moves to the inside!
This fun fold will work with any paper or occasion.
The meaurements are easy,  scored A5 cardstock in the middle at 14.9cm, off each short side measure 2.5cm (1") CUT one and SCORE the other.
Be sure to continue on the hop below!

Thanks so much for stopping by and hopefully I have inspired your creativity. I love reading your comments, be sure to leave me a quick hello below!

  2. An awesome masculine card Carolina. I love how you overlapped your feature image with the movable greeting element, it makes it feel more connected.
