There's nothinng Plane and Simple about this Chain Card Swap for Annette

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Annette and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the blog hop at Annette's blog and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 3rd in the chain for Round 8 and have created a Fun fold card with the Adventurous Sky Bundle and matching DSP.
Here's is the card I CASE'd from Nancy. I loved exploring this card when I received it, The first thing I wow'ed at was the cool fun fold open/close. The Lavender paper is one of my all time favourites so I;m glad she used it!
Lets take a closer look at this card. After deciding on a male card for this project, I grabbed my new favourite bundle. My son wants to be a pilot, so this set was a must have. I have covered the front in panels of DSP. I always measure the cardstock first and then cut the dsp a 1/4" or 1/2cm smaller (just once off the long and short mesuremnt, not from each side) - a guaranteed perfect border everytime!

The Cajun craze tag is also from the paper stack, theres a page full of them. I stamped and die cut the plane, additional clouds and the circles for the sentiment.
The inside writing panel is slightly thinner than usual but so much more interesting as you can see the patterned panel down the side and the front greeting moves to the inside!
This fun fold will work with any paper or occasion.
The meaurements are easy,  scored A5 cardstock in the middle at 14.9cm, off each short side measure 2.5cm (1") CUT one and SCORE the other.

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Cheryl Hurst and the CASES of her card. I encourage you to start the blog hop at Cheryl's blog and follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 4th in the chain for Round 3 and have created this super bright 'ripped landscape' card using strips of coloured cardstock.
Loving all the sentiments, in particular the THANK YOU from Circle Sayings, I can add it to any type of background.

Here's is the card I CASE'd from Annette  - be sure to see the OG version here
I really liked the designer paper that Annette had used and wanted to bring that into my design.
I didnt have any of that paper above so I decided to replicate it with stripes of cardstock instead. I love it and think its quite striking.
I carried the design to the inside too.
A fun, bright and colourful palette

Lets take a closer look at this card. This stamp set will retire soon, make sure you grab a copy before its gone gone gone.
It's hard to see from the picture but this image has been stamped on vellum in Memento Ink and coloured with Stampin' Blends.  I also made a 'window frame' with 4 stripes of Highland Heather cardstock. The image of the woman looking out the window makes me feel all peaceful and calm.
I carried the 'window' theme to the inside (retired items)
Loving the fresh, cool, relaxing colour tones.
Be sure to continue on the hop below!

Countryside Inn DSP - Chain Card Swap for Annette

Welcome to the Chain Card Swap Blog Hop! This hop is all about Annette McMillian and all CASES of her card. I encourage you to start at Annette's blog follow along to see the progression of her card through the group. Its so interesting to see the development!

I was 3rd in the chain for Round 1 and have created a DSP covered card with Countryside Inn, the daisies are from Cheerful Daisies. I really enjoy using DSP to cover my card, I think it is a great technique for when you're not sure where to start decorating or designing your card.  DSP can be all inspiring from what colours to create with to and what images you might want to highlight.

Here's is the card I CASE'd from Monique - be sure to see the OG version here

Lets take a closer look at this card.I have kept the vertical strip in the same place and the sentiment too.
Never forget the inside!
ALL the blues in the Stampin' Up! family. My favourite of them all is the BOHO BLUE
Do you think my card is similar to Annettes?
