Welcome to another Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. We're so excited to share our projects and we're certain that you will find great tips and inspiration from all our creations. Joining us today is the fabulous & gorgeous Jenny Hall from the USA! We've all selected a project to CASE {Copy & Selectively Edit} from our very special guest. The full lineup below will help you move along the hop, so grab a cuppa and enjoy!

I have chosen this great project to CASE. I really like the layout and the embossing on Vellum is just one of my favourite techniques.
Inspired by the colours from Memories & More I created this card, CASE'ing Jennys' layout, coloured flower & the embossed Vellum.
The Layered Leaves Dynamic Emboss folder is sooo lovely, the 3D looks so great.
Colouring this flower was made perfect with my new Stampin' Blends - watch this space Stampin' Blends coming November 1st!

If you like the colour combination, please share it on your favourite Pinterest board!

Birthday Blooms in Blues #GDP028

I had so much fun creating a very very very similar looking card in pinks recently (see here) that I tried it all over again in blues. Which is your favourite? Having fussy cut out this image twice now, I've realised I won't be doing that again, can you see how many little leaves there are?! I would much rather a framelit to do this for me, that said I'm really hoping this stamp set {Birthday Blooms} makes it into the 2016-2017 annual catalogue, otherwise I will be D.E.V.A.S.T.A.T.E.D!
I also was inspired to create this card by Jess Williams card which is being CASE'd over at the Global Design Project with challenge #GDP028. I like the way Jess's card has clean lines down either side of the sentiment panel and has a beautiful flower framing the greeting.

Here is my card
I was careful not to 'over colour' this flower, like my pink version, I like the pops of white space inbetween.

Thank you with Beautiful Blooms

Welcome back for another project! Our Crazy Crafters are being highlighted over at our wonderful Mentor's blog - thank you so much Kylie Bertucci you are the best!

I'm excited to share this card because I love the Birthday Blooms Stamp set! Plus I think I have discovered how to create a faux wood panel (like the ones in the Cottage Greetings card kit).
You know I love a lot of layers and this card delivers on that! I especially love the glimmer paper - its so pretty in Blushing Bride. After layering all the background pieces I stamped, coloured (markers) and carefully cut the 'Bloom' out.
To create the Faux Wood Panel I layered So Saffron Cardstock with a sheet of vellum from the FREE SALEABRATION item - 'Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack'. It was important for me to add this layer behind the flower to help make the flower stand out from the busy background.
Try making this card! Here are the measurements for you:
  • Aussie C6 card base in Whisper White Thick cardstock
  • Mossy Meadow Frame 3-7/8" x 5-5/8"
  • Love Blossoms DSP Panel 3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
  • Blushing Bride Glimmer Strip 1" x 5-1/2"
  • Mossy Meadow Strip 1/2" x 5-1/2"
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!

Confetti Rose CASE'ing Connie Collins #GDP020

This week over at the Global Design Project with challenge #GDP020 we are CASE'ing the super talented and gorgeous Connie Collins!!!!! Here is here card.
http://www.global-design-project.com/2016/01/global-design-project-gdp020-case.html
Here is my interpreted creation. I was inspired by lots of things on Connie's card. I love the strippy background which I replicard with DSP from 'Birthday Bouquet' pg 9 Occasions catalogue.
I also really liked the centre focal piece. I cut a rose from black cardstock and gently glued to to some of the confetti designed paper from the same 'Birthday Bouquet' DSP then carefully cut around the outside edge with my paper snips. The 'Thank You' is from 'Rose Wonder' the matching stamp set to the Rose Garden Dies - see below in the Supplies list for the Bundle information.
I'm in love with it! Now I have a good use for all those confetti-like DSP's.
How can it be so subtle yet POP off the page at the same time??
I couldn't resist adding some Goldy glitz to my card too - so I stuck some sequins from the 'Metallic Assortment' pack to resemble those cute little hearts from Connie's card.
Try making this card! Here are the measurements for you:
  • Aussie C6 card base in Whisper White Thick cardstock
  • Basic Black Frame 3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
  • Birthday Bouquet DSP Panel 3-5/8" x 5-3/8"
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!

For you Dear Friend - Birthday Blooms

How cute are these quick and easy cards? I made them with just a few supplies including a new stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue - Birthday Blooms! This stamp set has been a super popular set. The flowers are perfect for colouring in your favourite technique. I kept the colouring low key on these examples -I just went around the flower outline with a marker  - Blushing Bride & Pink Pirouette for the first card and Pool Party & Soft Sky for the second.
For the background, I stamped ever so lightly some dots in crumb cake. To finish them off I added a touch of BLING - Blushing Bride Sequin ribbon and NEW Pool Party 3/8" Glitter Ribbon! Voila.
Quick and easy! How devine is the font in this set?
Try making this card! Here are the measurements for you:
  • Aussie C6 card base in Blushing Bride cardstock
  • Mossy Meadow Frame 3-7/8" x 5-5/8"
  • Whisper White Panel 2-1/2" x 3-3/4"
  • DSP Panel 3-3/4" x 3-3/4"
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!
