This month I have created 2 Animal inspired projects that I hope you will love!
Also we also have 3 amazing Guest Hoppers that you should definately check out.

Wild Card
I asked my husband "quick, when you think of animals, whats the first animal that comes to mind?" He said "tigers". I was like PERFECT - I know just what I will make!
I love all things bright and this card certainly is BRIGHT and definately WILD! I embossed this in black and I love how the colours POP! I added the colour by sponging on ink with Stampin' Up! sponges  - its was super easy! You could create all kinds of colour combinations.  I like the way the colours change where they overlap giving you shades of green and orange. Get this stamp quickly - it will be retiring at the end of April - did you know its discounted at the moment? Click on the image below to see it online.
See the black circle cut out? I cut the edges with the FRINGE scissors, looks a bit like a mane! Rawr!
Foxy Boxy
Foxes are so cute, maybe not the ones in real life but I've seen so many cute pics of them all over the place I just had to create this little gift bag.  I created the gift bag using the LARGE dimensions on the gift bag punch board - which I LOVE. Then I created a flap for the top & close. Mr Fox's little face, ears and tail are made with Stampin' Up! punches. Decorative Label for the ears. Bow Builder for the Tail and Circles for the eyes and nose.

Try making this box! You will need a Stampin' Up! Gift Box Punch Board
  • Cut an A4 sheet of Cajun Craze down to 7" x 8-5/8
  • Using the punch board, create a "Large" box
  • Cut a separate piece of Cajun Craze 3-5/8" x 6"
  • Score this piece along the longest edge at 2" & 3" to create the top & flap
  • Adhere together, punch out shapes to make the ears, eyes and tail.
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!

Today I have a set of Thank You cards to share with you. With so many beautiful patterns in the Go Wild DSP Stack and some very cool fonted 'Thank You's in One Big Meaning stamp set - it was super easy to create these fun and gorgeous cards.
I used the help of the inspirational picture featured in the Annual catalogue on pg 16 to set the design of my cards. A couple little embellishments later - pearls, candy dots and a pretty flower image and VIOLA - gorgeous cards, made easy! Be sure to read to the end for all the measurements.

Go Wild for #GDP006

Todays card takes me back nearly 9 years ago when hubs and I went on our Safari Honeymoon to Africa. WOW 9 years! How time flies, but the memories are still fresh, visiting wonderful green nature reserves, seeing wild animals and meeting great people too. Scroll to the end for some pics.

I was inspired by the designers sketch over at the Global Design Project with challenge #GDP006
Here is my African Inspired card..

'Go Wild' with the Banner Triple Punch

When you're in need of a quick card - it doesn't come quicker than this! This isn't the first time I have used the Banner Triple Punch (aka the BTP) yet each time I start crafting I seek ways to incorporate it into my project.

This card was a demonstration card for my catalogue launch to show how quickly you can make a card with just a few products, so to recreate it you will need:
  1. x3 strips of Go Wild DSP - cut to  2", 1.5" & 1" widths
  2. Punch each piece using the guides on the Banner Triple Punch
  3. Staple the banners to your cardbase (I used my Handheld Stapler from SU)
  4. Add a greeting and cover the staples with a bow (optional)
The Banner Triple Punch is just awesome - I like Mary Fish's video on it the best!
