Crazy Crafters Blog Hop CASEing Nadine Weiner

Welcome to another Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. We're so excited to share our projects and we're certain that you will find great tips and inspiration from all our creations. Inspiring us today is the very special Nadine Weiner! We've all selected a project to CASE to inspire you today. The full lineup below will help you move along the hop, so grab a cuppa and enjoy!

I have chosen this project to CASE. Nadine has stamped the floral image once the right way up & again upside down. Beautiful!

I have done something similar but with a gorgeous new corner Die from the Garden Impressions Suite of the New Annual catalogue. I cut two of the dies in Cherry Cobbler cardstock and stuck one on the bottom left corner and flipped the other and stuck it in the top right hand corner. If you look carefully you can see the join line down the middle.
The Die is so beautiful it would look great on any kind of paper project and you can even cut pieces from it to decorate your projects.

I finish this card off with a black banner and a sentiment from 'Detailed with Love' - you recognise the circle from 'Swirly Frames'..

If you like the colour combination, please share it on your favourite Pinterest board!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed seeing my project please take a few moments to leave me a comment I'd love to hear what you think. There are so many amazing creations you won't want to miss. Please check the line up list to see who is up next!

Creating Kindness Blog Hop with Me as the special Guest!

Welcome to the Creating Kindness DT Blog Hop. This week the team have chosen me as their special guest and I'm so honoured. We are all sharing a crafty technique and I have chosen to share with you my favourite one. I love to create my own backgrounds and Designer Paper (dsp) with stamps and inks. So I'll be sharing the repeat stamping technique using an upcoming stamp set from the new 2018/19 Catalogue – Swirly Frames.

Repeat stamping is really fun and literally it involves you stamping the same image over and over until your page is filled with images. Here's an example. I have stamped the square image on an angle to make it look like a diamond and stamped it across the page in different colours and overlapping them to create this fun pattern

This example makes for a great masculine card but you could easily swap out the bowtie with some pretty flowers for a feminine touch.
How fun is this stamp set Swirly frames? It has so much potential it's gonna be a great set.

If you like my colour combination, please share it on your favourite Pinterest board!

I was a Sydney Onstage Display Stamper - Part 1 - Sharing my Scrapbook Pages

I was so excited to be asked to stamp for Onstage as a Display Board Stamper! My work, alongside a few other demonstrators are the first creations to be seen using NEW not yet released products. Today I'm sharing my scrap book pages. I don't claim to be a memory keeping expert but I think I did a good job to showcase the new products. I will be sharing all my projects over the coming couple of weeks so stay tuned for those posts.

Thanks to Heidi Bell for this photo of my display!
Below is my first page of my son Marco. The journaling talks about how he's always trying to grab the camera, so I made a camera with the Swirly Frames stamp set. This stamp set is more than just lines on a page. The colours in my photos are enhanced with the reverse side of the Garden Impressions DSP, blues & greens always work well together.

Here's a closer look at the camera.
Add a few layers for a realistic feel. How uncanny that it looks a lot like Sue's camera!

Hopefully I have made you think twice about this stamp set.

My second page is a throw back to 1988. 30 years ago sounds like so long ago! I thought it fitting to celebrate something from 30 yrs, as Stampin' Up! are also celebrating 30 yrs. The bottom photo is of my cousin Ricky & I in NZ as kids. I don't know why I'm holding the fish (fush), my cousin caught it, and clearly from the look on his face he's not impressed. It's been a bone of contention all this time!
This cut out is from a Memories & More pack.
I'm sorry Ricky! It's official now - the fish prize is all yours.
