http://whatwillyoustamp.blogspot.com.au/2016/05/wwys-challenge-65-endless-birthday.html
Today is a perfect day for Endless Birthday Wishes! Its my little man Marco's 4th Birthday today!!

So I have created for you a set of 4 Birthday Cards using Stampin' Up! Notecards. The Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set always makes me feel happy.  I think its the variety and font style of the sentiments that does it!  There are so many combinations you could create. To make these notecards I paired Regal colours with the retiring InColours and I just love the combinations! I coloured the birthday cakes with Stampin' Write Markers and added a Wink of Stella (clear) onto the cakes for some shine. These cards could be easily gifted to both female and male or to a special someone as a set. Here's a closer view.
Garden Green with Mossy Meadow
 Crushed Curry with Hello Honey
Island Indigo with Lost Lagoon
 Elegant Eggplant with Blackberry Bliss
Try making these notecards! Here are the measurements for you:
  • Stampin' Up! Whisper White Notecards for the base
  • Cardstock Frame 2-1/4" x 4-3/4" (I've used Garden Green, Island Indigo, Elegant Eggplant & Crushed Curry)
  • DSP Panel 2" x 4-1/2" (Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss & Hello Honey)
  • 1-3/4" Circle punch
  • 2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch - retiring
Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it!

Happy Birthday with Layered Letters Alphabet

Todays card makes me HAPPY! Maybe its a subliminal message from the very bold HAPPY on the front of the card that does it!? I'm such a fan of the Alphabet stamp sets - such a great way to personalise a message or just have fun with letters.

There is LOTS of stamping in this card.  I've CASE'd it from the Annual Catalogue, see pg 133 using one of my favourite alphabets - Layered Letters Alphabet. I stamped and cut of the letters and raised them all on dimensionals - looks so good! I paired it with Endless Birthday Wishes - the dotty background stamp is in this set. Can you see the cake stamped in the background too??
Check out pg 133 of the Annual Catalogue
Here are the card measurements so you too can create this card:
  • Standard Australian C6 card base in Watermelon Wonder Cardstock (half A4 sheet)
  • Very Vanilla Panel - 2-3/4" x width of card
Get inspired with this colour swatch, feel free to share and pin it!

Endless Wishes - A CASE'd card from the Catalogue

Today I have a birthday card for you that I CASE'd straight from the best inspirational book - the Annual Catalogue! This card using a really lovely simple set called Endless Wishes and the catalogue showcases it beautifully with this card here:
Original from the 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue
I changed the colours used in the catty to a more mauvy theme using Wisteria Wonder and Perfect Plum to watercolour the cake.  I also used Smoky Slate to colour a bit of a shadow under the cake stand - its a subtle effect.

I wanted a little dimension on the image so with my trusty Crystal Effects I filled in the cake's icing, but also the cake stand! Most stands are porcelin or glass so I wanted this look here too. For the candles they just had to have some Gold GLITZ dazzling detail to match with the Gold Metallic doilie bedind. I trimed the Doilie down the middle so that you could see it either side of the cake.
The dots on the cardbase are from Watercolor Wings - a set I will feature in more detail soon.
Here are the card measurements so you too can create this card:
  • Standard Australian C6 card base in Smoky Slate Cardstock (half A4 sheet)
  • Wisteria Wonder Frame - 2-3/4" x 4-1/4"
  • Watercolour Paper Panel -  2-5/8" x 4-1/8"
  • Black Satin Ribbon - 12" length (30cm)
Quick Tip on how to use Crystal Effects!
