http://whatwillyoustamp.blogspot.com/2016/09/wwys-challenge-83-sweet-home.html
It's school holidays here in Melbourne and my kids have been raving on about the new Ghostbusters movie. Hubbie and I are old school and love the original film. Either way SLIMER is in both, and I was reminded of him when I made this Haunted Halloween House.  I was playing around with the ghost stamp and the matching framelits, white ghosts just didn't pop - but in Wild Wasabi - BOOM you have Slimer! Or Slimers I should say...
The door swings open on this haunted house and it reveals the greeting.
Can you spot something in the window???

My inspiration came from (many but this one in particular!) this beautiful simple and striking repeat stamping card!
http://stampinantics.blogspot.com.au/2016/06/back-to-basics-gdp040.html
Paula showcases time and time again gorgeous projects that are easily achieved by any stamper of any level. I love lots of layers and complicated, intricate designs - but this time I was happy to just stamp and KISS (keep it super simple!) muac muac muac
Melbourne, lately has been a spread of cold, wet, sunny and rain - loooots of rain which means lots of puddles! My boys have enjoyed jumping and sploshing around and I was inspired by the joyful memory of them slashing around to create this GUMBOOT card. Super easy - simply stamp and stamp and stamp!

Try making this card!
  • Cardbase in Smoky Slate cardstock, A4 cut in half at 10.5cm and scored at 14.9cm
  • Front:
  • Bermuda Bay Frame 3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
  • Whisper White Panel 3-5/8" x 5-3/8

Monochromatic Glimmery For You #FMS200

This card is super simple and clean - not my usual style I know, however I wanted all the GLITZ from the glimmer paper to shine.  When I showed this card to my hubbie I got the BEST reactionI've ever received from him! He was like 'WOW' and I was like 'WOW' at him! he really like the monochromatic look and the 'flipped' look of the greeting.
I  love the SPARKLE!

NEW! Jingle All the Way with Sleigh Ride Edgelit Dies #JAI274

I'm very lucky to have received my new Holiday Catalogue products before the weekend! And needless to say it was a GREAT weekend ...Crafting of course!
I hope its not too early to start sharing Christmas cards but I have lots of new items to show you.

I made this card by using the new 'Sleigh Ride Edgelit Dies'. These are so great with beautiful designs which you can mix and match for any occasion not just christmas. I went with a colour wash look that  fits in nicely with the Challenge this week over at Just Add Ink (keep reading to see the inspirational pic).
I used all 3 Edgelit dies here - Houses, Trees & Santa's sleigh. You'll notice I trimmed one of the trees on  the Suede panel just so it wasn't the same as the Crumb cake. Then I also trimmed the Sleigh and added Santa to the night sky! He's been glued directly to the Black cardbase.
Now, I'm hoping you've noticed the Vellum with Gold Snowflakes!! Umm its gorgeous and this Vellum comes in a 6"x6" stack with lots of other beautiful GOLD & BLACK designs - all vellum!
How cute is the wooden snowflake - yup I asked for more wooden embellishments and Stampin' Up! delivered.  These come in pack of 24 with 2 other designs (8 each, 3 designs).
So once you get your hot little hands on these awesome products (from Sept 1st) here are the card measurements so you too can create this card:
  • Standard Australian C6 card base in Basic Black Cardstock (half A4 sheet)
  • NEW! Winter Wonderland Vellum Panel - 3-3/4" x 2"
  • Soft Suede Panel -  3-3/4" x 3-1/4"
  • Crumb Cake Panel -  3-3/4" x 2-1/2"
  • Whisper White Panel - 3-3/4" x 2"
Todays card was isnpired by the lovely designers over at Just Add Ink with this inspirational picture
