Happy Mother's Day with Watermelon Wonder and Layered Letters

Happy Mother's Day Ladies! It has been a relaxing morning with breakfast in bed and the most wonderful handmade gifts from my boys - I couldn't ask for anything else!

I have created an easy to make card with some of the very very cool new sneak peak products and you'll also see I've created an envelope too!! This is using the new Envelope Paper - its lightweight and feels silky smooth.  The pack includes all 5 new incolours in 2 patterns - stripes and a zebra stripe pattern. I made an envelope in Watermelon Wonder and used another piece as a liner. I'm loving all these new toys!

To create the card I used some new In Colour cardstock Watermelon Wonder with a hint of Cucumber crush for the frame piece (sounds like a yummy recipe!). I was inspired by the recent saleabration set "Best Day Ever" and created my own greeting with the new Layered Letters Photopolymer set.  Pretty cool right!!

Here is my card...

Blended Bloom Single Flower Stamp

Hi Everyone

Today's post showcases my favourite stamp at the moment - Blended Bloom. I have used the soon to be released Calypso Coral Blendabilities to colour this flower.  Visit the online shop now to see the colours available for purchase straight away and then again on August 1st to see the next 6 colours in the range. We were given this set FREE at convention and I can't wait for my other colours to arrive in my next order {she says checking the front door every hour!} should be any day now!

Each colour comes in a pack of 3, a light, medium and dark marker.  The colours are so vibrant, almost fluorescent in this colour range. I do favour this alcohol based marker to colour with no streaky lines.

Here is my Blended Flower beautifully decorated on top of the new Hamburger Box Die.

Watch this clip to learn more about the New Blendabilities
Visit my online shop to see this range of Blendabilities available right away!
Remaining six colours Available starting August 1, 2014.

Night of Navy   Wisteria Wonder   Calypso Coral   Melon Mambo   Crumb Cake    Smoky Slate

 What Sets Them Apart:
  • The Stampin' Up! rectangular barrel keeps your markers from rolling away! Flat storage.
  • Each marker comes with a tip on each end: brush and fine.
  • Marker tips are made of nylon, which is superior to polyester which can fray.
  • Stampin' Up! markers coordinate wonderfully with our cardstock and can be used with transparent sheets.

Feliz Cumpleaños Mum - Happy Birthday

Just a few days ago we celebrated my Mum's birthday. My beautiful mum does a lot for me, she helps me with the kids, my housework and she's there whenever I need her.  So I was really stuck for a birthday gift this year - she's got everything you could possibly imagine!
I suprised Mum with a Surprise High Tea, Sit & Sew Afternoon for her and her sewing friends, needless to say she totally loved it! A special thanks to my beautiful friend Emily at Sweet Pops by Emily for the devine High Tea Goodies and perfect High Tea Set up!

Mothers Day Cupcake Toppers

Hi Everyone

Mothers Day is so very close! I have been working on a few projects and today I have my first PHOTO Step by Step Tutorial for you. Until now all of my cupcake toppers have been 2 dimensional, but 3D is definately more my style.
These cute coloured roses are super easy to make all you need is a Stampin' Write Marker - the colour of your choice from Stampin' Up! 5/8" (1.6cm) Flower Trim from the pg 5 of the Seasonal Catalogue, some snips and glue dots also available from Stampin' Up!
Stampin' Up! Punch Art Mothers Day Toppers

I have used the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle and 1 3/4" Circle punches to construct the topper base.

Snip off a flower as pictured
And with the brush tip of the marker horizontally 'brush' over the edges of the flower. Continue colouring until you get the depth of colour you're looking for.

Hurry - this Flower Trim is only available until 30th June 2013, so contact me to order yours.
