I'm a Star Wars fan! Punch Art Creations

After years of resisting I have become an admiring Star Wars fan! We recently celebrated my sons birthday and he was set on having a Stars Wars Party! I was happy to oblige and go CRAZY on invitations, cookies, cake, chocolate favours - the works!

The Invitations
Now if you're a fan too you'll know who this little droid is...its BB8!  A super cute, fun and easy punch art project. 'Lets Party' is from a stamp set in the Occasions catalogue (pg7) called 'Party With Cake' see it here.

Chocolate Favours
I love punch art! It gives you such freedom to just create whatever you want and the Word Wimdow punch is really the hero of this post. I have used this punch here again to create heeeeeeaps of lightsabers (also known as light savers to my kids! Lol). These chocolate wrapped favours were quite a hit and were so easy to create.
The Cake
I must acknowledge my dear friend Irene from My Crafted Creations who helped me to create this AWESOME cake! We created the Death Star from a styrofoam ball and wrapped it in fondant. We added the lines with a ruler.
Cookies
These were my favourite thing to create!! I had such a ball creating these, again with the much needed help of my friend Irene!
Other party items
Here are some pics of all the other bits n pieces that made this Star Wars party a real hit!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed seeing my Star Wars projects please leave me a comment I'd love to hear what you think! May the force be with you!!

Jelly Bean's anyone? Balloon Builders Stamp set NEW Ocassions Catalogue 2016 Sneak Peek

I love Jelly Beans!! Don't you? This card is a super fun card made with just one little stamp from the NEW & Coming soon 'Balloon Builders' stamp set. It will be available on January 3rd 2016 from the NEW Ocassions catalogue. I'm so excited to share this card.
If you've been following my creations for a little while now, you'll know I look at things with a third eye. I'm always trying to expand the uses of my stamp sets and I often challenge myself with "what else does this look like?". Well maybe I was hungry or had low blood sugars because all I could see were JELLY BEANS!
Here is my card...
Here are the card measurements so you too can create this card:
  • Standard Australian C6 card base in Whisper White Thick Cardstock (half A4 sheet)
  • Cucumber Crush Frame - 3-7/8" x 5-5/8"
  • Whisper White Panel -  3-3/4" x 5-1/2"
This has to be the most COLOURFUL colour swatch, feel free to share and pin it!

Celebrate Today with Cherry on Top DSP & Washi Tape

I don't think I've stopped creating since my BBB arrived on Friday and I couldn't be happier! I've created a cute little Birthday gift package using the new Cherry on Top DSP Stack for todays post. This paper stack is full of party like, bright and fun images that just make creating really easy.
I've paired this paper along with Celebrate Today a photopolymer stamp set carried over into the new catalogue and my favourite Bigz dies - the hamburger and fry boxes.

Here they are...
Cherry on Top DSP & Washi Birthday Card - Balloon Framelit Dies & Celebrate Today
I created this simple and fast washi banner with the new (coming soon) Cherry on Top Washi tape set. It consists of 5 nicely coordinated tapes which you can see I've used on the above card and see all 5 below - totally gorgeous!
Oh my favourite die - The Hamburger box is so easy to decorate with a little DSP and Washi banners!
The Fry box makes the best treat box - how cute is that balloon paper?
The whole package!
I hope you've enjoyed my projects - I can imagine you could have a lot of fun creating some 'thank you' treats with these.

Punch Art Card - George and Dinosaur (Peppa Pig)

Hi Everyone

Punch Art is my thing! I love it and another thing I love, love love, is how this Punch Art George & Dinosaur (Peppa Pig) has come together! Stampin' Up! always seem to have the perfect colour match for all my projects - love that! I think you'll agree they look adorable but maybe next time I'll turn Dinosaurs' head to face George! Opps.  My favourite parts of this card is how with an Owl punch cut out and a circle punch I was able to easily create Dinosaurs body and George's Bakers Twine (Thick) tail - perfect!

Here's my card

The majority is Punch Art - just a couple of fiddly pieces are free hand cut. Some retired punches were used but can easily be substituted for others.
