Today I've used the stamp set 'Happy Notes' along with the 'Lots of Labels' Framelits set. To create my cards I've paired this great bundle along with Crumb Cake notecards, English Garden DSP & Seam Binding ribbon.

 

Here's a closer look at the Stamps and Framelits with some stamping techniques for each one.

English Garden Flowers in Navy and Olive #MOJO403

I can't believe how quickly this week has flown by! Its Monday here in Australia and well its actually time for the new Mojo Monday sketch to come out so I'm a bit late with this post.  I shouldn't be too hard on myself - I have been unwell this past week especially, and even though crafting does make me feel better, this cold/flu just won't budge. I have been making sure I get lots of sleep, rest and staying nice and warm, so fingers crossed for a better week!
Todays card is inspired by the Julee Tilman's MOJO403 design and I love the many layers and mature colours I have chosen for this card. This colour combination immediately makes me think of a masculine card, but as you can see with the right images and embellishments you can make it quite feminine too.
Here is my card..

You're not seeing double I cut out 2 'thanks' from the Greetings Thinlits Dies - the one in navy is slightly off centre behind the top layer to create a shadow look. You could use this technique with so many of the thinlits & framelits.

Watercoloured Wetlands on Bohemian DSP

With each new annual catalogue, I reakon I must flick through it hundreds and hundreds of times and each time I see something new in the photos. So when I'm looking for inspiration (aswell as online help & websites for craft making) the catalogue itself has tonnes of inspirational photos and tips and I have CASE'd today's set of cards from there.

Here is the catalogue picture which features a beautiful new stamp set called The Wilderness Awaits. The full set has a hunting dog, a fox, a stag and this flying duck which made me think of the Wetlands stamp set.

The duck has been gently watercoloured and is over a piece of Boho Chic embossed Delightful Dijon. So while I waited for my new box of goodies to arrive, which has now, I have created these cards with the Wetlands stamp set. I have combined it with the new Bohemian DSP - I love the vibrancy of this colour combination! 

 Don't they look lovely, vibrant but gentle at the same time

Mojo Monday Challenge #401 - Farmers Market Card

I had so much fun last week that I'm back for another Mojo Monday sketch. I just received my BBB earlier this week with new catalogue goodies - yay! and the DSP I was most looking forward to receiving was 'Farmers Market'. I love all the earthy tones, plus I grow lots of my own veges too.
I really love what I have created even though there is NO stamping! What!? I'm so sorry! It wasn't until I had finished the card that I realised I hadn't stamped anything!

I really enjoy how easily a card comes together when you have a sketch to guide you. If you haven't participated in any challenges before, just give it a try and Mojo Monday is definately the most popular one around!
Here's my card. I used the new Expressions Natural Elements - (wooden laser cut words) these are great value and the font is really lovely too! I cut another pear out of the DSP and popped it up on dimensionals, I felt there was something missing.... so I added some Crystal Effects - forgotten how much I really love that shiny look, so I'll be using lots more in my projects.

I carried the theme on the inside too..

NEW English Garden DSP inspired Stamped Design Cards

I really can't wait to share with you the online photos of all the lovely new range of designer papers coming on June 2nd. Until then you'll just have to trust me that they're beautiful, and keep watching my posts as I have gathered inspiration from what I have seen from the catalogue.

The sentiments on today's cards are stamped with a new Hostess set called A Whole Lot of Lovely. I have taken inspiration from a new set of paper called English Garden. You will notice the flowers on this DSP are quite similar to the soon to be retired stamp set Painted Petals from the Occasions Catalogue.

Punch Art Donut inspired by Cherry on Top DSP

With lots of May birthdays to make cards for, here is one I made for a little girl who turned 5 over the weekend! Inspired by the Cherry on Top DSP Stack  I used on my last project, I created this quick card, its even got its very own punch art Donut!
I'm loving the sparkly sprinkles - a few spots of glue (2 way Glue Pen) and some Dazzling Diamonds glitter. But to really finish off the donut its just got to have a bite taken out, which I punched out with the 7/8" Scallop circle punch.
