NEW English Garden DSP inspired Stamped Design Cards

I really can't wait to share with you the online photos of all the lovely new range of designer papers coming on June 2nd. Until then you'll just have to trust me that they're beautiful, and keep watching my posts as I have gathered inspiration from what I have seen from the catalogue.

The sentiments on today's cards are stamped with a new Hostess set called A Whole Lot of Lovely. I have taken inspiration from a new set of paper called English Garden. You will notice the flowers on this DSP are quite similar to the soon to be retired stamp set Painted Petals from the Occasions Catalogue.

Here is a picture of English Garden from the Gold Coast Convention May 2015
Here are my cards

Zoo Babies in Pear Pizzazz & Basic Grey

How exciting to have meet my besties new little baby!! He's so cute. My boys were so intrigued to know everything about him and how he came from 'tummy' to the outside world!!! Arrr that's a conversation for another day.
My friend Anna gave me this 'Zoo Babies' stamp set only a few days prior, she couldn't have timed it better.  She already had it in her craft stash, I know you can relate to this - every crafters nightmare realising you just bought another copy of a stamp set you didn't know you already had!

Here is the card I made for Anna and her family which she loved.

Here is my version..

Here are the class girls, busy creativing ...
We decided to stamp our own backgrounds instead of DSP as the ladies loooooove stamping. I think it looks great! Tempting Turquoise and Hello Honey.

Punch Art Debonair Top Hat & Monocle card

I am really excited to share with you a super cool card that I was inspired to create. Thank you so much Petra for the challenge idea of converting a cake image into a top hat. I'm in love with this card! I knew immediately that I wanted to use the Mustache Framelits Die and th Bow Builder punch to accompany the Top Hat.  However there was something missing! So a couple of google searches later and of course a monocle was in order to complete the look!
 How I created this card...
Top Hat: I have black embossed the cake image from "Time to Celebrate" onto some Cajun craze cardstock, then cut the flags and cake stand off.
Monocle: I cut a ring with the 1" & 3/4" circle punches, then line 1" circle of vellum behind.
Mustache: I cut 2 mustaches out, sponged and curled the top layer - looks so cute!
Bow Tie: You just need a small piece of Adventure Bound DSP and the bow builder punch -you're done!
I hope you've enjoyed todays card, I had a lot of fun creating it for you.
